Ice Cream on the Couch

My plan is to post 3 days a week, and the chocolate cartoon will be on Friday.  Friday is for relaxing and fun and looking forward to sweet things. I've been doing cartoons for Psychology Today for several years now. However, I've only

I didn’t expect to find chocolate in it.

Wow, this must have been a disaster in store sales...but it tastes so good! I first saw Lucerne Chocolate Whipping Cream (Limited Edition) in Pavillions right after Thanksgiving. (Lucerne is the dairy supplier for Vons and Pavilions.) What a festive idea! What a chocolate delight! I bought 2 pints. Here's a whole forum on jimmies, in Boston, and Boston does know its ice cream. (favorite flavor in Boston? Coffee.)

Someone at school told me that jimmies is actually a ra-cial slur related to the Jim Crow laws ('course, she was from Jersey)...anyone else heard this?
I hope not! I never heard that before. More comments ideas, below.
Yeah, I've heard that they're sprinkles if they're multi-colored, and jimmies if they're chocolate, because it was slang for Jim Crow. And even if it's not true, enough people around think it's true, so I call them all sprinkles.
