Klondike What the Fudge Brownie: Ice Cream Brownie Sandwiches Review
Ooh, not much good to say on these ice cream brownie sandwiches, sorry, Klondike.
First of all, the name? Please. What the Fudge Brownie. Trying to be cool by using profanity in the title doesn’t work with square ice cream patties. (get the joke?!) Off-color language is not appetizing. Also, annoyed that Klondike drops the plural just because they feel like it. There are 4 in a box, so it’s not Brownie, it’s Brownies. Grammar, people.
- brownies my way- photoshopped to goodness!
There is enough ice cream as an ingredient for it to qualify for the ice cream label in the name, not just frozen dessert or whatever they call non-ice cream products. That’s good.
I would describe it as vanilla ice cream, with chewy brown soft crackers on top and bottom (which they call brownies), and some chocolate goo in the middle, which tastes artificial.
Nothing worked for me in this confection, I’m sorry to say. I’m thrifty, so I hate to throw food out, and I give desserts a chance, so I ate 3, But the last one is still sitting in my freezer somewhere, and will probably succumb to freezer burn.
What Others Say about Klondike What the Fudge Brownie Ice Cream Sandwiches
Wow, On Second Scoop likes them! That surprises me. They mention a similar idea from Snickers, that I’ve never seen out here: Snickers Ice Cream Brownies. I’d like to try them! (Found on innit, but I think it’s discontinued.)
Brand Eating has some more pictures over here. I’ll stick with my idealized Photoshopped brownies above, thanks!
Last Bite
I rated it -1/2 star. Annoyed I carried it home from the store, tbh.
*not surprised it’s now discontinued. Amazon has 5 or 6 other varieties of Klondike ice cream many of which I like, (delivered fast, from Amazon Fresh), including Choco Tacos, yum.
