About Dark.
I’m a cartoonist, an eater of chocolate things, and the blog author. Picky eater, great friend, curious observer, elitist artist, midnight writer, voracious reader, omnivorous chocoholic, impatient driver, and so-so lover.
I’ve been doing restaurant cartoons for over 10 years for big and alternate papers. I especially love doing cartoons about the best part of the meal – desserts – and I also review everything I eat, at least to myself! So it’s time to share.
You can find my cartoons in Los Angeles Times, The New Yorker, Harvard Business Review, Barrons, Glamour, etc. And in a different vein, I’m a script consultant and dialogue doctor. I’m a proud member of the Finer Things Club.
You can see my newest editorial, political, opinionated (this is your warning) cartoons every day in Yahoo! News. Funny normal cartoons are here.
I have two books out and in print, What Do Women REALLY Want? Chocolate!, and Love Me or Go To Hell: True Love Cartoons . More info and descriptions, including how to get them signed, here.
I have other blogs, but they’re not as interesting as sweet cartoons, so don’t bother with them.
All cartoons are copyrighted by me, and cannot be used without advance permission from me, the author and cartoonist. Copyright is poetry and the law.
Hey, cartoonists get lonely, too. Write to me below. I answer all email, so if I don’t respond in a reasonable time, do something drastic! Or try chocolatecartoons at (@) gmail.com.
